Initiatives
MACDC sponsors a number of special initiatives designed to support our members in specific areas of community development and to strengthen the effectiveness of the broader community development system. These initiatives and programs are generally designed in response to new opportunities or challenges facing our members. Most of these initiatives are sponsored in partnership with others and last several years with independent budgets and steering committees. Others are less formal programs offered by MACDC directly for the benefit of our members.
